Hmm, this is a good resource and I'll keep it in mind. I actually decided to go with a less elegant but more implementable solution to the immediate problem (random placement inside polygonal areas), but a lot of other neat stuff like Boolean operations on polygons could come in handy. I completely missed the Python bindings, thanks. Ethan
