Re: [pygame] what does pygame.image.load do?

Astan

Documentation for pygame.image.load and
pygame.image.tostring can be found here:
http://www.pygame.org/docs/ref/image.html

If you want to manipulate images without PyGame, you
might find the PIL add-on library useful:
http://www.pythonware.com/products/pil/

Also, Python's standard library includes some image
functions. Documentation of the imageop, colorsys, and
imghdr modules can be found here:
http://docs.python.org/lib/mmedia.html

If you decide that PyGame is not the correct tool for
task you are trying to accomplish and you still need
help, get help from the Image-SIG mailing list:
http://mail.python.org/mailman/listinfo/image-sig
