Re: [pygame] Registration disabled.



The IRC pointed me to the mailing list but I'll ask around some more.

Can't pygame appoint someone with upload privilages to email submissions to? This person could also serve as quality control. I don't really care about membership, I just want to share my little prototypes to people interested in them.

Also, is the pygame submission-machine ever going to get a overhaul? Get rid of the dead links, maybe even serve as headquarters for game projects. It feels a bit like a ghost-town which is a damn shame...a damn shame indeed.

Be nice, now. As has been explained before, the reason is due to a historical deluge of spam. The feature is implemented, it is just deliberately not enabled.

OP: Renà has been handing out the link to register. Maybe the PyGame IRC knows it too
