Also, and not to put too fine a point on it, but (1) trying obvious things and (2) telling us what you tried are just *foundational* netiquette when asking for help.
For example, the error says "timidity.cfg: line 30: syntax error". Did you look in timidity.cfg for a syntax error
on line 30?
