I agree - something more neutral is needed. Not all
games hinge around shooting things, after all.

I suggest the name Dionysus. According to Wikipedia,
among other things he's the god of wine and patron
deity of the theatre, so can in some sense be
regarded as a god of recreation and entertainment.

This name has a pleasing sound, and avoids being
blatantly Python-related, although it does have
a "y" in it. -)
