Are DEB:s easier to create than RPM:s? I know RPM:s fairly well, but my
initial tests with making DEB:s just frustrated the hell out of me. It was
of course on a friends machine, and I had no Debian experience at all
then.

Now I'm also evaluating a switch to Debian for my main machines at home,
so I don't think your decision will affect me that much. :-)
