[pygame] Fatal Python error: (pygame parachute) Segmentation Fault
I guess this is NOT good ;).
I'm currently working hard on my font "contest" entry, textures and
gradients (with unlimited, user-positioned colors!) already work very well,
however now that I added the dropshadow code I'm suddenly getting this:
Fatal Python error: (pygame parachute) Segmentation Fault
abnormal program termination
And now the interesting part: if I add some breakpoints in Komodo and just
let the code continue to run when they are reached, the program works
without any problems. The only thing I can say is (and excuse my language in
this special case ;)) WTF???
I could of course include all my code here, but because it contains neither
docstrings nor comments (my bad, I know) it would probably take you more
time to figure out what I'm doing than it's worth. Any debugging tips would
be appreciated.
Btw, I am using python 2.1.1 on Win 2k with the latest pre-compiled pygame
release available (and the latest dependencies). Another slightly off-topic
question: When will there be a binary release for Win32/python2.2 ? I don't
want to sound demanding, it would just be nice to subclass pygame.Surface
for one of my classes.
