for those of you that can read Spanish here it is a book about
programming games using SDL.

It has been published under creative commons license. It can be
downloaded for free from the link above together with source code of
examples. Not about python though, looks like C++.
I am not sure how good this is, but i thought some people on the list
would like to check it out.
