I guess the key here is that for the pyweek entrants:

1. the library has to be easy to obtain,
2. the library API has to be stable enough that there's no surprises for
   them close to or during the challenge, and
3. there should be some minimum of documentation so others have a chance
   of understanding how to use the library.
