[pygame] unix compiling cleanly?

before the 0.5 release i tried to go through the code
and clean out all the warnings i was seeing under unix.
for 0.5 the code compiled cleanly (aka, no warnings)
under my test unix system. (an irix machine using gcc)

has this been the case for you linux and other unix
users? i'd like to make sure the code is warning free
before the next release. their may be 1 or 2 items left
to clean.
