I don't see the creeping death problem before, but now pygame is just slow.

Seems to have been a one time thing.  I experienced horrible stuttering and 
a general slowdown of the system the first time I used pygame-0.5, but now 
it seems to run okay.  It probably had something to do with the fact that I 
ran pygame 0.4 then upgraded and ran 0.5 in the same DOS window.  Everything 
seems fine now.  Time to start working on games.
