Trolltech has had great luck with a dual-pricing model for its
Qt toolkit.  Free for GPL'd  products, and cost money for 
commercial use.  see: http://trolltech.com/products/qt/licenses
pricing structure for Qt. especially http://trolltech.com/products/qt/licenses/licensing/opensource/

There are also discounts for small business, and educational and academic
use licenses.
