Hi Simon,

Nice idea. I was thinking myself of making a kind of program like this
but based on Scala Multimedia which is more adapted to TV kind of
presentation (or slide show...).
It is more in the line of Director in much simpler.

I had to put it on hold for the moment unfortunately but as soon as I have
some time, i hope to start working again on it... Maybe we might be able
to share sources and transitions (GPL?) ?

Integrating C code  into pygame is not that tough but  it has its own
little issues to take care of... Some better specialists might help you.
