[pygame] pygame MacOS!!




After 6 or 7 hours of fixing the broken distutils that comes with MacPython,
changing a line or two of pygame's C code, hacking together a setup file,
and doing some other very strange things in general.. I actually got pygame
to compile under MacOS classic.

Some things of note:
SDL_ttf is going to be very difficult to compile..  I'll work on it monday
Only one timer is allowed at a time on MacOS
Music seems to be broken but sound works

This means that all of the examples worked, sans aliens.py (exception on
music), chimp.py (no font support), fonty.py (duh), glcube.py (no pyopengl
for MacOS.. yet), and vgrade.py (platform only supports 1 timer.. I don't
think that's quite true, but the python interpreter seems to think so).

I'm gonna try and figure out how to bundle the little bastard up,
BuildApplication doesn't seem to be very nice.. isn't bundling pyd files..
but I'll see what I can do bout that.

So anyways, after everything seems to be working (maybe a week or two max),
if anyone is interested, I can take a few requests to bundle up your app for
the Mac so you can make pretty much everyone happy.  I guess BeOS is next
eh?.. I do have a machine with BeOS too.. I suppose that'll be next month or
something.
