RE: [pygame] Playing mp3 files with the Movie class



Well, it could be an option, but you wouldn't just want to switch every app
to using it.  Games, for instance, seldom want to have their audio active
when switched away (when you switch to your spreadsheet as the boss walks in
it's hard to explain where the Quake III music is coming from), whereas MP3
players want their music in the system buffer so they can play all the time.

no. this is how SDL initializes the sound. i'm guessing it would not be
hard to change SDL so this didn't happen, and i'm sure if someone did it
would be accepted in the next release of SDL.
