It's my habit to run my tests in Windows with DOS .bat files. Long story short,
pygame.mixer.music reports playback correctly(mixer.music.get_busy returns
true, sample position advances), but ceases making sound if I run it with a
batch file, or by typing "\python24\python program.py" into cmd.exe. It works
correctly if I click the icon in Windows Explorer or run it through Idle.
What in the world is going on with that? Now that I've figured it out I can
work around the problem, but it deserves a fix, or at least a careful look.
