You can view all software that matches a tag at this point.  However, you'll find related tags displayed on the right part of the page when you view an application's description.  It's not set up as a tag cloud yet.  Justin mentioned that a tag cloud display is something that could possibly be implemented in the future.  (I could always use help updating the tags already there and/or adding new ones for each piece of software if anyone's interested in volunteering.)

 

Just to clarify, the tags are currently separate from the categories and we have different entries for both fields.

Hi, a tag cloud could solve the overlap issue and allow for multi-membership of different categories.  If you define a new database column simply called "tags" and then build your pages/lists dynamically from members whose "tag" field contains the particular tag corresponding to the menu item, then you'd have it.  It would also be flexible going foreward.
