Take a look at <http://richtech.ca/seul>.  That's the SEUL/edu 
Educational Application Index, with ~420 educational programs that run 
on Linux listed.  I expect you'll find something of interest there. 
You might also look at <http://www.linuxforkids.com>, which lists lots 
of programs for kids.  There's some overlap between the two, but 
there's also a significant number of programs that are on one but not 
the other site.
