RE: [school-discuss] LTSP First Time - why not net-boot?



OK, well before I can do any testing ... can you give me a bit of advice
regarding the _current_ setup? :)

Network		10/100 Fast Eth.	
		Currently running on 10MB	
Ports		2x USB 1.0	
		Standard Ports	

Client Lab 2:
Processor		1.0 Ghz Celeron	
RAM		128MB	
OS		Windows ME	
Drives		37.2Gig HD	
		52x CD-ROM	
Audio		Onboard	
Video		Via Tech VT8361/VT8601	
Network		10/100 Onboard Eth.	
Ports		2x USB 1.0

Daniel,

Looks like it is now time for your to do some testing and experimenting.
Why not grab a couple of machines, set one up as a client and one as the
server and see what happens. It will be the best guide to what you are
likely to experience and will help you learn to set things up for the lab.
