[school-discuss] web apps

Microsoft's had an easy way to develop desktop apps using web
technology for quiet some time (at least since 1999) using HTAs
(hypertext applications).  Looks like that type of technology is
finally starting to be supported cross-platform.

Here are some different ways to run applications built with HTML, CSS
and JavaScript on the desktop or various devices:
