Re: [school-discuss] schoolforge infomercial project

Hello Mark,
wow -- that's incentive! so, ahh, what format would you suggest? I was thinking of
mpeg w/sound for starters, but is there a better format? Also, i can build mpegs
and manipulate graphics alright, but i don't yet know about adding a soundtrack.
I've never made such a "video". (but will try). If somebody can suggest the best
way to add a narrative and sync it to video and what final format the synced
tracks should be output to, those things i don't know yet. I should probably shut-
up now since i've never done this exact sort of thing, but lastly i'll just go so far
as to say that i'll try to produce a very simple video-sound mpeg as a starting
point and won't go "telling" further until that's "shown". But i'd appreciate some
suggestions and tips. Thanks,
Charlie Cosse

I'd like to setup a project page (starting this weekend) and try to lead
such an effort, with the group's permission and after some discussion.
Hope this can be desirable to everyone! Thanks,

Go for it.

Tip: Make it so the show can be put on cable access TV.

The Open Source TV realm has a need for these types of efforts. Perhaps Open
Source TV is more of the brian burp stage and not really to the status of a
realm. Nonetheless, I'd get the final product and play it on our cable
access TV station. And, I'd talk about it on the tv show I'm pondering
(Heavy Or Not). http://HON.CLOH.Org
