I noticed that the website was down and saw that it got hit by Drupalgeddon 😰. Apologies to David and LM, especially to LM whom had put a lot of effort into the software listings.
I take the responsibility here for setting up the site and then putting my focus into other projects and not being available to keep the site maintained. It's quite a bit of effort to keep Drupal sites up to date and polished, and when issues and vulnerabilities are found they come fast and before you know it, your website is mining some kind of cryptocoins.
I've put together a little html page that can welcome people to the list from some of the content from the site. Here is a screen capture of a very simply themed welcoming page.
For the effort LM put in, I would ask if there is anything I can do - the content that was entered into the Drupal site is still there. We could export it, and put it into static pages, or find some way to salvage if that is desired.
I think the
schoolforge.net effort is a diamond in the rough and with the right resources it could have an impactful presence. We were getting #2-3 top search result listings in so many categories for educational software when I had the ability to keep a sustained effort on analytics.
