Here's the pertinent thread; the pyzim library would have to be modified to support mutlimedia, and then probably some code tweaks to the kiwix reader.

Commercially, we're looking at about 10,000 Euro to get it all working, but all of the projects are opensource, so it's quite possible to get it all done with just a time investment.
