I am Gerald Logan and I live in Beaverlodge, a small town in the Northern part of Alberta, Canada. I teach 13 -15 year old students about computers technology and help administer a school of 600 students.

My interest in open source for schools started with the early days of the internet when our techs used open source software to run our system. I have advocated for it with my school, the district and written about it with the Alberta Teachers Association Computer Council now The Educational Technology Council of the Alberta Teachers Association. http://www.atacc.ab.ca/
