What is needed for Scribus?
    1. Qt-2.2.1,         get it from http://www.trolltech.com
    2. PyQt-2.3         get it from http://www.theKompany.com
    3. Python-2.0      get it from http://www.python.org
    4. Ghostscript 5.5 upwards (should nowaday be in every Distribution)
    5. ImageMagic
    6. pfb2pfa
optional PDFlib-3.03

Items 4 - 6 should already be installed by your Distribution.
