Hey, great minds think alike.  I had looked at V-Tech and this machine
in particular some months back and concluded that it was highly unlikely
that the hardware part of that solution could be provided at anything
near competitive prices to go head to head with V-Tech.  (Not that I had
the means nor inclination of actually engaging in such an undertaking
personally, but I was intrigued by the idea for a while. :)
