RE: status EDUML/YAQ
Bill:
Take a look at http://www.bookpool.com. They carry a wide variety of
technical computer books from many publishers at very decent prices. There
is no tax, and shipping is the actual cost of shipping.

~Hi Odile,
~
~I'll consider it (once Amazon.uk) carries it. I actually have the GIMP
~book. It was very helpful to me on 2 accounts. 1) I didn't ever think to
~right click on the image to get the full menu of things I could do. 2) It
~explained how to change the type of paintbrush used by gimp. I never
~thought that first you go to 1 menu and choose the brush style. I think
~its in template or something rather obsure. 3) It was my first graphics
~book ever and I finally learned what's up with all these layers. I'm no
~expert, but now I have read several graphics books and I know a lot more.
~Now I just have to develop the artist in me.
