download the packet, then go to Lab 3 towards the end - I included a sort of
"hand-holding" that walks you through make config, make bzImage, depmod, etc
etc...
It's a year old and may not be 100% compatible with
every distro (I tested it on RH 6.1 and Mandrake 6.5), but the process is the
same.
