Linux support list?

I think a support list for Linux in education would be a good thing, if
not now at least at some point.

For someone who wants help with Linux, posting to comp.os.linux is a bit
overwhelming, and the volume on all of these sorts of lists can get
really high.  There's this list, but I don't think general Linux
questions are quite its intention -- I don't think anyone minds at this
point, but I'd probably feel a little reluctant to ask for help on, say,
setting up my init scripts.

So, I just thought I'd put out the idea of such a list, perhaps just to
keep in mind for the future.
