[seul-edu] Lesson plans

Here are some sites that look promising:

<http://www.coedu.usf.edu/~morris/softplan.html>
<http://twister.coedu.usf.edu/tnt/>

I've looked at a number of the lesson plans on these sites, and very
few of them are using software that couldn't be replaced. Most talk
about using MS Works or Office, PowerPoint, Netscape, and paint
programs. All of these are easily replaced with free software. The
only ones that I saw that I don't know of replacements for were
Oregon Trail and Geometer's Sketchpad. It's possible that Hilaire's
(and others') Dr Genius would be an equivalent for Geometer's
Sketchpad; if so these lesson plans could be adapted with almost no
change. I suggest that if you're interested in doing so you try to
contact the authors of the original lesson plans. It's ony
courteous, and who knows, they may be enthusiastic to help!
