[seul-edu] Open Src. in Small Schools - O'Reilly Conf topic

O'Reilly Open Source Conference 2002 has a session on the last day
which might be of interest to this group. I hadn't seen it mentioned
here, so thought I'd pass it along.

While I'm not familiar with the presenter, I did attend last year's
conference. It was great ... but could've used more "academic"
content.

Blurb pasted below is from:

If the URL breaks, might be best to "come in the front door at:

Sessions)

Computer Experts 'accidentally' found open source opportunities
abound in small private/religious schools. With 13 Indianapolis
Catholic School clients using FreeBSD/Linux solutions for
file/print/e-mail/internet filtering, Computer Experts has
demonstrated the reliability and profitability of open source
platforms in this market. This presentation will describe the
technical, economic and political issues surrounding
establishing a small-school focused open source product strategy.
