I just heard about this on LinuxToday:

This is a commercial company that is using Linux as the server OS
for its software.  Here's their initial advertising blurb:

Edventions, Inc. is establishing the national standard for K-8
education in the information age by integrating the administrative,
communication, learning and fundraising tools needed to successfully
educate students.
