Following the recent "Linux in Education" and "Linux Educational
Materials" BOF sessions at the Linux Expo in Raleigh last week, we
have created two new eGroups on these topics:

Linux in Education Mailing List: linux-ed@egroups.com
Linux Tutorial Assistants List: linux-ta@egroups.com

The purpose of these lists is to advance the cause of Linux by
fostering next-generation support and training materials which will
better suit the needs of students and educators.

LINUX IN EDUCATION: Topics may include the use of Linux in academic and
business school curriculum programs, and support for educators using existing
resources

LINUX TUTORIAL ASSISTANTS: Support for publishers, authors and others
involved in creating or using educational materials concerned with
teaching the Linux operating system or applications.

Teachers, students, publishers, authors and potential authors are all
invited to participate in these lists. Full subscription information
and archives can be found at

        http://www.egroups.com/group/linux-ed
        http://www.egroups.com/group/linux-ta

EGroups also provides these lists with chat rooms, calendars of events,
links and databases, and a facility to run member polls.
