[seul-edu] My Lack of Presence
Hey All,
I just thought I would shoot a
quick email out explaining why I have been seemingly dead recently. I took a job
about a month and a half ago with Egghead.com in the business sales department.
More recently, I have been moved over to doing Ecommerce Analyst work. This has
been taking all my time, as it almost end of year and lots of data needs mined.
My work load should decrease within a couple weeks, and you should start to
see more stuff from LITC. I am also a panelist at LinuxWorld NYC for the Open
Source in Education panel. So if you didn't see me and the others in San Jose,
what a perfect reason to fly to New York!
On the LITC front I have a few
things in the works. I have purchased linuxintheclassroom.org, so I will work on
getting the page moved and updated to that within the next couple of weeks. I
believe I have mentioned my plans for setting up a volunteer database. I plan on
starting working on that as well. Now that my PHP and MySQL skills have
improved.(Aaron, you work at Vicinity right? Please email me). I have a
box of linux goodies and whatnot courtesy of Va Linux to give out sometime.
Hopefully I can steal my self for one of the K12Linux Installfest Saturdays
sometime soon to get rid of this stuff. Its taking up space in my
office!
