Here's a new one I just saw (on Scientific Applications for Linux, no
less):

From their description: "LeoCAD is a CAD program that uses bricks
similar to those found in many toys (but they don't represent any
particular brand)."  That's right, now parents don't need to pay
exhorbitant fees to a certain Danish plastic brick company for their
kids to build giant feats of engineering!  And it includes components
from other companies' construction systems too.
