Using RPMs or compiling and installing by hand? (I've done both, so I can

SSL is easy to plug in to apache, if you have compiled it yourself
(I can document the changes needed from the RPMs to self-compiled).
Just use OpenSSL... (Ask me if you need more advise, I just might redo
it for myself ;)
