Re: HOW-TOs
Hi Bill (and others),
I would be interested in assisting with this project (purely selfishly
motiviated - I need the docs for the new terminals I'm installing :-).
I've started writing a brief (trying to keep it under 6 printed pages,
with lots of screen shots) Getting Started guide covering logging in via
kdm, and navigating KDE. Currently in Word format, but I'd be happy to
convert it to something more broadly based - can you point me to info on
DocBooks?
My goal, and it sounds like it is echoed here, is to provide documents
(prolly printed, in my case) that a teacher or student can sit down with
and read along as they discover the system and applications.
Let me know how I can help!
