Re: [seul-edu] X setup

Jeremy,
Xset worked fine on my standalone machine at home. However, on the
networked machines at school it didn't make a difference. When I put in a
new setting such as "xset s noblank" or "xset s 1800" then query it with
"xset q," the new value displays onscreen just fine. However, the behavior
doesn't change; it still goes blank after about 10 minutes. Do you know what
file is displayed by "xset q"? Also, I can't find anything relating to time
in the screen section of XF86Config. Is there another config file elsewhere
under Redhat 6.2 with Gnome?
Thanks,
Dave Prentice
