I just thought I'd inform you that a user on the list has been working on a ppp
interface for a few weeks now. He had been working on one before he joined the
project.

Using these files will put it out of sync with the current pppd. Meaning that
the end-user will have to learn how to configure ppp manually 2 ways. Your way
and pppd's way.
Pppd currently uses:
/etc/ppp/peers/provider
/etc/chatscripts/provider
/etc/ppp/options
The options for the specific provider are put in that providers file in the
/etc/ppp/peers directory.
