John, you say that veRsion numbeRs is the way applications keep tRack of
which Tcl/Tk to use.  ARe you saying that something like TkDesk v1.0x
was wRitten specifically foR veRsion 4.x/7.x of Tcl/Tk and notheR
vesion?  OR would it have some entRy foR each veRsion of Tcl/Tk that
it will woRk with.

My loweR case R just quit woRking.  I hope this isn't a secuRity hole.
