------------------------------+--------------------
I got this issue yesterday for both Debian and Ubuntu. I tried
uninstalling and reinstalling Tor and torbrowser-launcher, but no luck.
Here's the Terminal outputs:
**The OS where I reinstalled Tor:**
$ tor

Jan 24 18:03:00.711 [warn] Failed to parse/validate config: Failed to bind

"/var/run/tor/control", the directory "/var/run/tor" needs to exist, and

(On some Unix systems, anybody who can list a socket can connect to it, so
Tor is being careful.)
