#6192: Toggle to save non-revealing preferences to User account

Currently, the TorBrowserBundle appears to save all settings, changes and
preferences to the bundle itself. Whilst this is fine for portability,
the frequency and necessity of TBB updates means that users unconcerned
with portability (eg. those installing it on their boot disk) have to re-
apply preferences often.
I'd like to request a simple toggle (probably in Vidalia) that allows
users to decide whether non-revealing preferences (ie. those preferences
that do not reveal private user info) should be saved in the bundle, or in
a set location in the User folder (eg. ~/Library/Application Support/TBB).
Ideally, this would affect settings in:
â Vidalia
â Aurora (Firefox)
â Aurora (Firefox) plugins
By default, the behaviour could either be as it currently is, or a prompt
on first launch could give users' the option.
Optionally, there could be a sub-toggle that affects the location of
things such as bookmarks, though with an appropriate warning regarding
security and privacy implications.
