 Until a couple days ago, OkCupid worked fine with Tor,
 though some nodes were blocked from time to time (maybe
 with some time period expiry based individual IP blocking?).
 Anyway, today OkCupid appears to be completely blocking
 Tor as I am unable to find a node that works (and I will
 retry on the weekend to be extra sure). Clearnet works.
 You can see the frontpage ok, but they are now timing
 out after you enter your user and pass and hit 'Sign in'.
 They are forward thinking enough to accept Bitcoin :)
 But this new blocking prevents users from expressing
 themselves openly with potential partners out of fear
 of their work, etc snooping their thoughts :( Let alone
 that you are even single by visiting via HTTPS (which
 by the way, they do not fully encrypt everything, so
 users are at both content and visiting risk there too).
 Or not taking care in protecting yourself from potential
 harm. Finding a mate is the most basic of human causes and
 needs :) So it just seems so disheartening that users who
 would benefit the most from being able to be open with
 each other now cannot. At least until OkCupid begins
 to see the light.

 Perhaps Tor Support/Assist can reach out and make
 a case for Tor to OkCupid. Thank you.


 Ps: To other Tor and OkCupid users reading this, my voice
 alone would certainly not be enough to sway a site, so please
 join me (and hopefully Tor Support/Assist) in reaching out
 to OkCupid. OkCupid seems quite progressive so I do have hope!

 I would love to have and find other Tor users on OkCupid.
 And from searching out their site, some good profiles
 do mention Tor and some related topics like privacy,
 anonymity, freedom, press, rights, and related technology
 and sites and apps and things. It is a perfect place for
 those natural interests to be both shared and used :)
