Re: [tor-relays] Question: RAM requirement for an exit relay

Hey,

I run relays with less RAM and it works fine. A problem with a SoC might be that the hardware cant "help" with crypto stuff (but I am not sure, I've read that somewhere). Also, this sounds like you are planning to run an exit from home, which you shouldn't.

Greetings

hey,
partly related to original question:
I'm planning to set up a new exit. My very first relay. I'm planning
to use a small SoC with 2GB ram. Something running on ARM like a
raspberry pi.

Is this feasible or even a good idea?
