Re: gEDA-user: Linux's answer to SolidWorks



The backrest to my wheelchair was custom molded to me including lateral supports for scoliosis.  I have blocks of foam that I want machined out to the same shape.  We laid a 1" x 1" grid over the backrest and used a height gauge to measure thicknesses.  I'd like to enter these thicknesses into a drafting applications to come up with a 3-D model of the backrest.

If it's just an STL file I suggest wings3d. While not as powerful as
blender it's much easier to learn.
