Good, then my changes in r1912 worked. Apparently colordict is another module that was ignored by py2app/py2exe. For the most part its absence would go unnoticed. Only when someone tried to use a named color -- e.g. pygame.Color('white') -- would there be a mysterious segfault.

    It seems the base.so file is sought after somewhere in the system
