I think that's a fine idea.

I think you should focus on giving money to people and low-level
organizations --

* in the case of seul/edu, think of giving money to "people on the list"
rather than "the list itself" (and perhaps giving the money to someplace
like osef which can manage and decide where the money should go is also
a good approach).

* in the case of schoolforge, think of giving money to the member
organizations rather than the umbrella group itself.

That having been said, schoolforge-discuss is a great way to reach the
member organizations. And I certainly don't want to impede you in any
way from giving them money. :)
