Only problem being that it isn't event driven. "Making it so" with
javascript then limits the browsers, (IE doesn't support the W3 DOM) and
you have to get into the per browser kind of mess. 

I still prefer the straight HTML stuff without a lot of javascript over
the headaches of the DHTML (although things are improving...)
