core is just a document

Core should be simply a document describing the environment that a program
will be expected to run in. Basicly a minimum configuration spec.

Our core distribution is a different matter. It will be a basic system
installation along the lines of the debian 5 diskettes. Once the package
selector launches after installation of the basic system, and distribution
that wanted to be based on that core would be able to load their
additional components.

You could describe the SEUL distribution core as that part of the
distribution that installs itself and enough additional supporting
components to prepare the system for the installation of the rest of it
via the package browser/selector. Everything that gets installed between
the initial boot-up and the reboot.
