Actually, I have the same card. So I  just  sent  Glenn  needed
XF86Config which worked for me.

If it turns to be ugly, Glenn can use
XF86Setup  (it is not standard for RedHat, unfortunately)
(to make new config)
or
xvidtune
(to finetune)

I just hope the monitor will be allright...
(i.e. it is multifrequency...)

You can test X server with monitor turned off:

issue

echo -ne "\007"

command

then

startx -- -bpp 16

then after awhile (1 min?)

press arrow UP two times and press Enter.
If you hear 'beep' as first time - no X server running...
